Feature
YouTube Sermon Summarizer
Paste any YouTube sermon link into Reverence and get a full transcript and an AI summary of the message — including the Bible verses the preacher cites. Works with your pastor's live-streamed service, a favorite preacher on the other side of the world, or that message a friend just texted you.
No downloading, no video files, no manual note-taking. Link in, sermon out — as words you can reread.
How it works
Copy the YouTube URL, tap Add sermon, paste the link. Reverence fetches the audio, transcribes it with Whisper, generates the summary, and pulls out the scripture references — the same pipeline as an in-person recording.
Works with live-streamed services
If your church posts services on YouTube (or Facebook links to a YouTube stream), you can drop the link into Reverence after the service and get the whole message back as notes.
Great for sermons you weren't there for
Follow a preacher who posts online? Skip the two-hour watch and get the transcript, the summary, the outline and the verses — then jump into the video only where it matters.
